In 2004, Gimme Shelter was recognized as a Program Pioneer, and for Building Air Tightness by the Wisconsin Energy Star Homes program.

Our homes are among the highest rated in the Green Built Homes^TM  program for green building practices and design.

In 2000, Gimme Shelter won the Wisconsin FOCUS ON ENERGY Sustainable Builder of the Year Award, and the National Association of Home Builder's Research Center EnergyValue Housing Award.  Gimme won the National Home Builder Association’s Innovative Construction Award in 1999.
