| This 2,300 s/ft. home has a no-maintenance exterior of unstained, rough sawn white pine in a board and batten pattern and a galvanized standing seam metal roof by John Golke Construction. The site was modified to create a walkout on the lower level, and rocks exposed on the site were moved to create retaining walls. This is the south face of the passive solar home. | ||

| This passive solar design translates to a cathedral ceiling in the living room that still feels cozy because of the warming elements of wood floors and trim detailing. | The dining and kitchen area have ceramic floor tile. The brick & stone veneer on the kitchen island was done by the owners. | |
