| This bench, set into a window well, has a large storage capacity, served by three lift-up lids in the top. Maple, oak and cherry woods were used in the case, the top is hickory from surplus floor boards. | Built-ins combine open bookshelves with drawer storage. The top is tile to accommodate plants in front of the large windows. A cherry band runs through oak cabinetry, echoing the cherry in the floor. | |

| We designed and built these movable shutters to accommodate one client�s desire to open up the upper bedroom to the lower floor in this split level home. They are hung on concealed slides in the beam above and even at six feet in height, slide effortlessly in grooves let into the trim detailing. | The shutters are insulated and provide good soundproofing in a closed position. The finish is natural jute fiber trimmed in oak. | |
